Went hiking on the Mount Sanitas trail this weekend. Added some deviations and some scraps. Sweet.

Took a hike in the mountains today. I posted six of the 70+ photos I took. I had a few that were great, except there seemed to be some problem with the camera dithering (or something) the hell out of the sky or getting the unfortunately characteristic purple fringing where bright and dark areas met.

There's very few colors other than brown, blue, and green in the pictures I took today, which overexplains the journal title. I might go stare at some strawberries and oranges for a while just so I get some variety today.

New digital camera. Mountains a couple miles away. Gonna go hiking this weekend. Taking the same pictures that have been taken thousands of times before. Now a few of them will be mine. I guess I can't ask for much more. Well, I can, but at some point that would be greedy. I don't know what that point is, but by the time I pass it I'll probably stop worrying about it.

I haven't written in this journal for almost 5 months... I guess that's because a) I've moved ~1000 miles away from where I was, b) have a new job, and c) I haven't really created anything I could post here.

Hopefully c) will change, but that may take a while.

Also, I'm working on developing a personality that isn't so boring all the time! I'm thinking that by utilizing exclamation points and perhaps CAPS LOCK I can at least shock my digital personality out of it's coma like state!!! Or maybe this is just another perfect example of how lame I'm feeling and acting! I certainly don't feel like I'm being anything but sophomoric and drab...!

I've updated the look of my ugly little webpage, and will soon update much of the content so that it actually reflects a more current version of truth.

I'm thinking I shouldn't have submitted all of my photos at once, since only a few ever get looked at... oh well. I'd like to take more, but I don't have access to a darkroom, so it'd have to be color 3x5s at first. Or I could draw some more... though I'm out of practice.

Blah. Going to fight all the little kids at Harry Potter tonight... they may wear fake glasses and carry little cardboard tube "wands," but... I'm much bigger than them, and I deserve a seat, damnit!
